Hi everybody ! Sorry I don't come here as often as I should, but I'm having so much fun flaming LucasuX up there on the PS(A) forum.

So, ParynS, THX 1204, Ded, Arsinoe, Sandfarmer, everyone... How you've been doing ?
Isn't this thread getting greater and greater, with the pictures and stuff ?

I would like to thank the Academy, my mother and Jesus Christ.

I just found out I don't have to fight with this big mean lawyer today, so...I have much more time to slack. Can I get an amen, people?

(Also, big WORD on the other award-winners.)

Coudn't be greater ! It is sunny, although we had a big storm yesterday...

Oh guys : I went to see Studio 54 yesterday, because I never saw a movie with Ryan Philippe and I wanted to see if he could make a good Anakin... You know, one of the rumor...

My God, this movie is AWFUL. I mean, it's like, a descent into hell... The Disney version.
The hero is taking drugs, but not too much. He's drinking, but not really. He should have an homosexual relationship with his boss to get the job... But he doesn't, and he still gets it. He wants to betray his best friend, but not really, and he doesn't, or maybe a little, and he's supposed to get mean, but deep in his heart, he's still nice, you know...

ARGL. JUST SHOOT ME.

That was two hours of my life I've lost for ever. And I don't even have my answer about Ryan Philippe : he was bad, but maybe it was because of that AWFUL script...

Sabe'-It was not just the script. I saw Ryan Phillipe in Cruel Intentions (another awful movie) and he sucked and I also saw him in Playing by Heart which is a really good movie that he also completely sucks in. It is as if he is just reading the lines off a teleprompter. It's like he ends every line with a question mark. "I love you?" "I love to dance?" "I'd like to kiss you now?"
He sucks. I have proof.
If he were Anakin it would be like this.

Anakin(Ryan): "I want to go free my mother?"
Yoda: But the council needs you on Alderan.
Anakin (Ryan): "But my heart tells me to go to Tatooine?"
Yoda: Say every line with a questioning expression do you. Mmmmmmm...I sense no talent in you.

Slack on.

Yep, same place and I'm going this year. I also went to the Glastonbury festival this year as yell, which was great. R.E.M. rocked as did Super Furry Animals and Bush.

Well, in true slacker form I slept in this morning because I could, only to get up and discover there is no caffeine in the house! So I will make a quick foray out into the world and buy some.

Still looking for a good pic for the website. I can't seem to find a suitable one.

54 is a horrible movie. It's only 90 minutes long and we turned it off after about twenty. RP cannot act his way out of a wet paper bag. Mike Myers was pretty good, but his character was so revolting that you didn't care if he overdosed on blow right before your eyes.

I am so honored Master Creepio. I always get these late starts since I am west coast time. I'd like to thank my company for all the takeover rumors, giving me lots of time to slack, since no one else is doing anything either.... I'd also like to thatnk my boss for sitting on the other side of the building, and never checking up on me...

I have to agree, 54 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. UGH! Ded, who are some notables playing Reading and Glastonbury this year? I've got a bootleg of Spiritualized's performance @ Glastonbury last year and it's incredible!

Another victory for the Slack!! Big Boss Dave came over to my desk as I was reading through the forums. I saw him out of the corner of my eye and I went to minmize the screen and he said "You don't have to close out of your SW internet thing. It's not as if anyone cares here." He grinned (not his evil grin, which I know well, but a nice grin) and kept walking. I'm being encouraged to slack at work, how great is this?

The height adjustment on my chair is broken and everytime I get up the chair sinks down. Right now my chair is so low my tits are resting on top of the desk and it is very hard to type in this position.

It is 9:00 here and I don't have any work. Hmmmm...I wonder what I should do with the rest of the day.

To bold stuff use the UBB code it's text , but no space after the text, and it will come out bold. If you want italics, use i instead of b.

Ahh. That is much better. Caffeine...

Off now to get my paycheck (let's face it, the only real reason to have a job) and then to catch the 1:05 showing of TPM. It is still in my favorite theater. Hubby has to keep working (self employed artist) so I will be going alone as usual.

I wonder if I could get away with posting a few TPM pics on the side of the counter the customers never see...will have to experiment tomorrow. Gotta do what I can. I don't think anyone will be surprised at all. After that, maybe a place to put an action figure or two...The area around the video computer is pretty bare...

Ruin Kai-sorry about the situation with your chair and your tits. I feel for you. My chair is a bit loppsided and leans to the right. To work on my computer, I have to lean my head to the left a bit and it is starting to cause neck pains and make it hard for me to sleep at night. Do you think we can get workman's compensation?

Hacienda51,

Just in case you still can't bold it's done like this... bold.. ho ho..

Only joking - you do one of these [ then b then ] then type the word or words you want to bold, when finished do [ then / then b then ]. That's all there is to it. If you want italics use i instead of b.

Off home now! Had an ace day on the Forum today . Only ruined by not seeing much of TarynS

May I have your attention please? May I have your attention for a Slacker Announcement!

As of now, I am initiating a new rule on the slacker's forum. It goes like this:
Jedi Soul notified my via email that she would not be present on the slacker's forum today. This is an EXCUSED absense. To further the greater good of slacking, you're allowed three of these per year.

If you don't at least mention to someone that you will not be present for the slacker's forum, it is an UNEXCUSED absense. The penalty means you will not be eligible for the slacker awards that week.

By the way, there's a lady in the lobby here with the Padawan braid. Very cool indeed.

Well, I'm so glad you guys agree with me about that terrible; terrible movie.
And thank you for the advice, Sandfarmer, now I can truly hate Ryan Phillippe without feeling guilty !
I don't even find him cute, for God's sake. He's too... puppy like.

Give me... Well, Ewan McGregor, Timothy Dalton, Rick Shroeder... OK, even Tom Cruise. I'll know what to do with them...

Best post! I'm so flattered. Thank you Master Creepio. By the way, can we miss Saturdays and Sundays and still be eligible for the awards?

A friend and her daughter came to work today, so I got to slack and get away with it because I was "showing them around" (Slacker translation: "chatting")
Sincerely,

Hi Sabé. Glad to see you back!
QASM I know what you mean about school and Slacking. If the way things have been going is any indication, Im going to have to work at slacking. How un-slack like.

Hey I have this idea. How about we put the Slakcer of the week awards on the Slacker web site too. I think it would be really cool if everyone knew of those particular slackers who have demonstrated they ability to Slack in a imaginative, creative, cool, courageous manner. What say you Creepio?

Oh by the way Im back!

Hi everybody! I'm now slacking at home, having gone home from work to eat On the topic of absences, this means that I may well never get a slacker of the week award. Why, I don't here you ask? Because tomorrow is my last day at work as I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks next week and then, shortly after that it's back to school. Unfortunatly, as my school is in the dark ages, it doesn't have a decent internet link, so the only time I'll be able to get a chance to go online is on thursday evenings But first, I've got a whole day of hard slacking ahead of me, possibly the only day I will actually be allowed to! Hope to see all the euro slackers up bright and early tommorow morning!
