Another story:

Man, I was close to killing someone. I showed up to work today minding my own business. Feeling good!

About five minutes into the day, while I was waiting for the new website to load, I noticed something. It was a feeling I had in the pit of my stomach. A feeling that said, "Something is missing."
My eyes immediately shot to the corner of my desk: Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure...still there. A sign of relief as my eyes slid to my desk drawer. I was horrified to see my vast collection of Defeat the Darkside gamepieces had vanished!!!

My heart raced. My head swam. My eyes fluttered about the office, searching for the culprit. Then it hit me, only one person could be responsible for theis outrage: My Arch Nemesis- the lady who sat at my computer a few weeks ago and discovered this page was up. She is the guilty party, your honor. It could be her and her only.

And there she was, strolling around like nothing happened. I called her over.

"Have you seen my Defeat the Darkside pieces?"

Her eyes flashed- she was guilty, I could tell. Her feeble response, "What are those."

"Stop kidding around. Can I have them back?"

"Did you ask Julia where they are?"

I was confused but I didn't let it show. "Are they still in the building?"

"Is this a test?"

"I don't know. Is it?" I asked as arrogantly as possible.

She paused and looked away. "They're in your desk somewhere."

Of course, the first place I looked, I found them. A horrible hiding spot- right behind this metal separator inthe middle of my drawer. Now, my pieces go right back where they were. She's not going to stop me.

I would say I definately "Defeated the Darkside."

Creep, you should take something of hers now.

I KNOW! Take the tampons out of her purse adn scatter them on her desk. That should piss her off. hehehe

But seriously, you should play a little prank on her. No harm, no foul of course.

Good morning all. It took me forever to get in here. The damn forum always starts screwing up around Wednesday.

Wow dapper bloke the web page is kicking booty. I love those icons, especially the slave one and the a wing. Very cool. My web page really sucks in comparison. Where did you learn those tricks. Come to think of it the SWMCMMJ page is brilliant because instead of wasting a bunch of space on a chat page, it just links back here. That way we have our own page and we can still annoy the Jedi Council forum with our slacking ways.

C Creepio-that pic is hillarious. Speaking of Hunter S. Thompson, I have read Fear and Loathing three times and seen the film three times. What did you think of the film? I really liked it. I thought it came as close as possible to representing the book.

Slack on.

The book was cool. I thought the movie was hilarious until the late-middle section, where it kind of slowed down. But I liked the ending. Overall, a pretty good flick. I love Depp. that movie was butchered by critics. Fools.

On another note: Victory!!!!

That woman that stole my Defeat the Darkside pieces just called me. She needs old Creepio to help her with some financial statements. She was explaining them to me and she said she was having a bad day, and that I needed to "lend" her one of my Defeat the Darkside pieces so she could utilize its power.
I nailed her with, "It doesn't work like that. The real power comes from within."

She said, "It does? Then I guess I'm hopeless."

I didn't even offer to train her. I just thought, "Yeah, pretty hopeless."

She can not be trained. She is too old.

Hey, I posted this in the PSA but thought I would ask for the slacker opinion on this.

I just read on another web page which is supposedly ran by someone who works for
Lucasfilm (all of his stuff has been right so far). He said that Boba Fett would be in a
lot of Ep. 2 (at least as much as Maul was in TPM) and that Fett would be a good
guy for most of the prequel story.

I think Fett should be about the same age as whoever plays Anakin. Probably 18-28.
I hope that Fett will be a scoundrel type character like Han. Who do you guys think
should play him with this new info. Someone like Matt Damon or Ben Affleck might be
cool and they would probalby do it pretty cheap. Hell if Afleck would make
Armegeddon he would die to make a SW film.

I need sleep. Must have sleep!! Staying out till 1:00 a.m. and then going to work early the next morning just doesn't help!!

Vrian Sinth slowly turns his chair towards the monitor, just out of view of those passing his cubical. They can't quite see if he's just being VERY quite or asleep. Vrian puts his hand on the mouse and asumes the possition, not forgetting to keep his head close to the computer fan to drown out his snoring.

Sleep......ahhhh.......

More Fett definatly sounds pretty cool; I'd love to see him evolve from a Han sort of character to the bounty hunter we all know. Probably should fight alongside Obi and Anakin in the clone wars.

i'd be just as happy if he wasn't in it at all. i remember when i first heard Samuel L. Jackson was going to play a role in the prequels , i hoped that he would be Fett.

Morning, slackers...actually, it's almost noon...what a slack I am...

Anyway, while I was slacking my way across town to pick up some paperwork for my boss, I started thinking about all the slacking in TPM, and it hit me...EVERYBODY IN THE FILM IS A SLACKER. Observe:

Anakin: volunteers to race his pod because he wants to help the Queen and the Jedi? Fishcakes! He simply didn't want to go to work that day.

Shmi: gives up her kid to Qui-Gon because she didn't want to have to raise the little twerp

Qui-Gon: gets skewered by Maul because he doesn't want to have to raise the little twerp either

Maul: sits on his rear while his probe droids go looking for the Jedi

Queen: doesn't want to have to stay on Naboo to fight, so she leaves so she can slack off at a pod race (plus, I bet she has a remote control and a bag of nachos in that armchair compartment)

Decoy: stays on the ship for 1/3 of the film

Panaka, Obi-Wan: ditto

Jar Jar: until he met our heroes, he spent his free time hanging in the woods and eating clams

C3PO: spends most of the film shut off

Mace and Yoda: in almost every scene they're in, they're sitting on their a$$es

R2: gets vacuum-sucked into every ship he boards...too slack to roll up the ramp (it's not like the ships have stairs)

Valorum: too busy slacking to control the bureaucrats

Neimoudians: "Send the droid." 'Nuff said.

The only character who doesn't slack off is Palpatine, who as a result becomes the Emperor and creates an evil empire.

Lucas' message= SLACKING IS GOOD

Slack on!

excellent hacendia51

now discover the slack of the orignal triolgy

for example

luke doesn't want to work on his uncles farm any longer, he wants to "waste time with his friends "

uncle owen wants him to stay because he's a slacker too...

the droid with a bad motivator... SLACKER !

the officers manning the star destroyer guns
" there's one "... " hold your fire, no lifeforms aboard "

if they had shot everything down it would be a much shorter movie

stormtroopers obviously slack on target practice

and many more...

help me out here slackers, i'm to lazy to list them all

Yes the slcak is strong with the original Trilogy. How about Han? He spends all his time dodging Jabba because he doesn't want to pay. A definite slacker move. Obi-wan lives out in the desert as a hermit so no one bothers him, doesn't use his Jedi influence, slacker. Vader, well he sorts of kicks a$$ so I guess he's not that big of a slacker... Showing that work is the Dark Side!!!

Okay...

Old Obi-Wan-- sits on HIS rear end for 17 some years waiting for Luke to grow up so he can hand Luke a lightsaber, lie to him, toss him into the Rebellion, take him onto the Death Star, and then conveniently die as things get hairy. Slack.

Han-- "hokey religions are no match for a good blaster at your side." Translation: why spend years training in swordplay and mental discipline when you can just get a good gun. Time spent not training= more time for cantina fun. Slack.

Yeah, Uncle Owen was one of the biggest slackers in history.
"You must understand I need you here Luke."

What he really meant was, "You must understand I need you to do all my work for me, Luke."

All Owen does is bark out orders to Luke while he sits on his butt. Think about it, you see Luke cleaning the droids, etc. But do you ever see Owen doing a damn thing? Even Beru made that weird alien milkshake thing.

Great website dapper bloke!!!

Well my latest night shift was with the office wet blanket!! No Forums for me! It is so sad! However, I was able to clear out my e-mail .. the one I use for all Stars Wars related stuff!! So it wasn't a complete loss! The Wet Blanket hasn't seen TPM yet! I offered to go with him .. but I'm not sure he will go! We discussed SW a bit (he seemed surprised at the number of times I have seen it .. 7 times .. I know small potatoes compared to some of you guys .. I've been slacking *giggle*). I may get him to see it yet but I'm running out of time! Any suggestions?

Darth Tater I'm on my way over to P:SA to see the thread! But I must get some sleep soon .. I been up all night w...g well you know!

Han Solo flies into asteroid belt to get away from Star Destroyers. Slacker!! He wants the easy way out (huh?)

Han Solo in ROJ tries to hotwire the doors to the sheild generator rather than go in the front door. Slack!!

Leia is also a slacker. During ANH and ESB battles she is always standing around the monitor rather than fighting. Slacker!!

Han is always asking Chewy to get him his tools cause he's too lazy to do it himself!!

It's full of slackers!!

Slow day in forumland.

Without TarynS, without Jedi Soul, except for the cameo (and beautiful email), Binks, Amidala's S, Creepio. Slow.

I was kind of all over the net today. I bought some new SW action figures. Vintage stuff from the 70's. Han Solo & Luke and an R2-D2. If anyone wants to buy a vintage R2 for like $12 bucks let me know. It's in really good condition.

Tomorrow, the slacker awards come out! I might get bored and just post them tonight. Stay tuned.
TarynS- you got the evening shift.

I'm off to the spoilers forum to finish off my last half hour of work.

C Creepio signing off.
