| dapper_bloke Member | posted 08-02-1999 06:03 PM 11pm - slacking at home... just saw TPM again and I'm feeling smiley... thought I would drop in to say hi to you all, and see how you are coping now we are stuck in Misc... the frequency of posts to this thread seems to have dropped off quite a bit - I've been a culprit of that today, but today was busy (for a change) in the absence of ideas for the website, I'm asking you all to dig out a picture of yourselves and send it to me at swmcmmj@hotmail.com - I will assemble a slacker's gallery so at least our website will have some content - we can construct more as we think of it... I'm also going to embed a java chat applet into it, so if anyone fancies a quick real-time chat, they can... this should (time permitting) be ready tomorrow; the photos will go up as soon as I have enough... Yesterday I took a long luch break (to help releive my depression over the state of this fourm) and went to K-Mart and looked at toys. They had an R2D2 with pop-up lightsaber I had been looking for so I was happy but I also found laying among the bottom shelf and oppened battle droid with no package to be found. I thought to myself, "Self, you could just put that battle droid in your pocket and no one would notice then you would have a cool battle droid for your desk to play with." Yes I was tempted by the dark side and almost stole. Fortuantely, the good side prevailed and I went to a clerk and asked about the loose figure. They said they usually just threw them away and that I could have it for free. Yaayyyyy me! Once again the good side prevails and the slacker is triumphant. IP: Logged |

One of our newer members who has not burned as many bridges as C Creepio or I have with the administrators should post nothing but nice posts about the administrators and send nice emails to theforce.net. Then, after a few weeks that slacker member will be appointed administrator. Once he or she assumes power, they will move every single thread in the PSA to the misc.
