I'm just back from an extended vacation in Austria, so I'm jet lagged and awake at four in the morning. I was lucky enough to see the midnight August 19 premiere of Episode I in Austria. Austria had 110 prints (not 110 screens, I think, as theforce.net reported), the most ever for a movie release in Austria. I collected almost a suitcase full of Austrian publicity for Star Wars, and let me tell you, TPM hype was almost more pervasive there than it was here, an absolute wonder to behold. As soon as I get my pictures developed I'll send one to the SWMCMMJ website. You folks have been very busy slacking since I've been gone -- I've spent the past hour trying to catch up. In less than four hours I'm back at work and the slacking will begin anew... IP: Logged |

I can top that, Darth Nut. My previous position was on nights, 3 - 11. Once people were gone for the day around 5 or 6, me and some coworkers would settle down in a conf. room, slap a movie into the vcr, and watch it on a projection screen. Our own private theater! Sometimes the security guards would even join us... Nothing like being paid to watch Star Wars at work. "Now that was slacking!"
