OK. Take deep breaths. Start again.

I went to see TPM again today after last week's disappointment of missing it because the paychecks were late. It is still in my favorite theater, hasn't moved on to the discount theaters yet, though they have been showing it in the smaller houses for the last month and a half or so. So I buy my ticket, glance at it so I will know which way I will be going, go buy my soda, then go to the right auditorium. I walk in, look around, go back out and check the sign and my stub to be sure I am in the right one. Sure enough, it's the right one. They have it back in the largest house in the theater! Sure, it wasn't a very big crowd (middle of the day on a school/work day), but I got to see it in a very good auditorium again. The only sad thing is this may be one last run before going to the discount theaters. I could not believe my luck! I was the first one in, too, so I had my choice of seats.

I braved the non-hurricane to deliver a document to the courthouse, and I had not one, but two, count 'em, TWO SW moments.

1) I passed a white Escort with the license plate "PD RACER"

2) The baliff working security at the courthouse saw my Yoda keychain when I went through the checkpoint (man, is that thing a conversation piece!) and said, "hey, YODA! I'm a Jedi!" I smiled nicely b/c I wasn't sure if he was just messing with me or not, but he was nice enough. He handed me my keys, smiled and said, "May the Force be with you!"

Slack on! OB2, you are a sick little monkey.

When my wife (whoever she is) is pregnant. I'll make sure she's asleep, then sneak up on her, put a speaker against her stomach and play a tape of ANH right off the video. I will do this daily for the full 9 month term. That way the baby can hear SW and will be able to recite the whole movie word for word at birth- without ever having seen the movie!

The horrible news: My home computer crashed last night. I am at school right now. Everything was lost... My screenplay, all my poems, all my writing, and two papers that are due for AP English on Monday. We think that someone sent us a virus... we could be wrong. Anyway, I won't be on at all anymore, except after school once in a great while... uh... I hope you guys won't forget me... I love you all... The soonest we can get it fixed is in 3 weeks...
