I think I am a slacker... I was playing Worms Armageddon, and when I couldn't be bothered to finish my turn, a sound played, calling me a "Slacker." Maybe they didn't realize that that was a compliment . IP: Logged |

Once again, I had no internet access at work today. The computer that runs our network is still screwed. I must get in a few posts from home I guess. It just is not as rewarding as posting on the job though. There is nothing that says I hate my job and I'm getting paid to slack off like posting at work. Oh well, maybe tommorow.Slack on. I can't see anything after my last post here! I'm posting this to see if it works, and will add more if it does.Ok, it did. Now for responses to stuff I couldn't see: Well, as you know I'm not around as much as I used to be, so I guess I have some stuff to respond to that's from a few pages back. First off, I see I finally converted bmilder, to the ways of the slack! All right! Second, I think our own BB would be great, as long as we had some kind of contract or something saying we had to post here to. Also, being the Emperor I want Admin under my name, but I won't do anything MTSBWY Sincerely, Your [This message has been edited by Darth Tater (edited 09-08-1999).] IP: Logged |

Hello everyone!Another late night post from, the one, the only RedHot5 Glad to see that the slack is strong and getting stronger by the day. dapper - hmmm our own BB... interesting, I think trial run is in order. I miss you all in the chat room I get there and no-one is there anymore. Oh well at least I have these threads to keep me company. Star wars story: I picked up book nine of the X-wing series and finished it in 2 days. Great book! I recommend it. That's all for now. I'll be around... IP: Logged |

Well, I didn't get to read as much as thought I might today. Where the heck is all this w*rk coming from, that's what I want to know! I think there is an evil w*rk generator somewhere nearby. It senses more than 5 seconds of inactivity and then it unleashes more tasks on you. (Or maybe that's a Boss?)I am, in spite of that, enjoying my book. It's the Illustrated Screenplay for TPM. Very interesting the bits that were left out of the final cut, and you have to wonder exactly why. I will probably finish it tonight, and then go see the movie again tomorrow. I think that will make 15 times. Do people at work make fun of me for my obsession? You bet. But so far no one has dared desecrate the calendar I hung up. Considering some of the things C Creepio has been through, I count myself lucky. Hoping to see you guys in chat tomorrow! Stellar IP: Logged |

Hi everyone.I'm trying to slack, but there's this thing called college getting in the way. I think this is the first time in weeks I've gotten to check into the slacker thread. dapper_bloke, I love the sleeker look of the site! Good job. Hope everyone is slacking off. IP: Logged |

Greetings fellow Slackeritavillians! I see the slack has been very stong indeed in here today. And you are all turning me into a true Rebel! I'm not ever going to get another job where I can't be online during the day. I miss so much fun! Stupid database computer job...it stinkawiff! I am constantly tempted by the dark side to call in sick so I can truely appreciate the power of the slack! But then tonight I missed out on some slacker time by going Star Wars Shopping, so I guess that's ok, tho just to check in makes it past my bedtime. Accckkkk!!! Why do we have to sleep? I've already given up eating to be here...('shhhwwhhhhhoooppppbuzzzzzzz'....lightsaber illuminates above head...a new weight reduction plan? The Star Wars Slacker Diet!) I managed to pick up some great stuff at the local comic book shop, some more 'danglers'; a Naboo fighter & the Sith infiltrator and a pit droid for the SW Playpen, among others. Because of that, there WILL be SW quotes at work, as I can just hear it now when my boss comes back from vacation and sees what's become of my docking bay: Boss Crabb: "This is madness! Put those things away or you're going to get us all killed!" Twi'lek Babe: (while plucking pod racers from docking bay wall) "I'm going to regret this...." NO, I will stand up for my rights, I will not let the Wookie win!!! I will allow myself to be sent to the spice mines of Kessel or smashed into who knows what! Star Wars and the slack will be with me, always!! Finally visited 'The Page'. Impressive...most impressive. Didn't dive in headfirst tonight as I must forever sleep now...but have made plans to visit tomorrow, baring any disturbances in the slack. BB? Can't vote yet, as I feel I'm not yet quite a registered slacker, but I'm trying!! Nice pic, Stellar!! Nighty-night! IP: Logged |

Hey Rookie: I've dropped out of college something like six times now. There is always room for slack!Of course, this whole college thing not working out would explain my weekend job as a projectionist at the local dollar theatre. On one hand, its a suck job, but on the other hand, starting next week it'll be free, continuous, unlimited showings of TPM...and I get paid for it. How's THAT for slacking? IP: Logged |

Bknussr -- I can't think of a single college course that couldn't be livened up by a couple of TPM showings. Consider yourself getting the best part of a fine education.Sorry I've been kind of no-show here recently. Rest assured the slack is alive and well with me. Two parties in the last two days and Binks is a tired, tired man. Going to check out the SWMCMMJ site -- I'll drop by tomorrow afternoon. IP: Logged |

Right you are, gundark - one day less, only 986 to go until Episode 2. Damn, that's depressing. Does anyone even check my Countdown thread? That thing's like Chinese Water Torture - drip by drip, day by day. Haven't checked in much in the past day or two, but rest assured I jave been slacking... IP: Logged |

Thanks, Twi'lek Babe. It's not the best pic I have, but it was on the computer already. Would the comic book store you bought your danglers at be Atomic Comics? There's on on this side of town, too.Having fun not doing anything. Checking on the TPM showings even now. IP: Logged |
