Chief really gets on my nerves if someone i don't know calls me that. The moving took a little more getting used to then I expected. Im still trying to settle in. Well Im at work/school project site. (So that means I don't get paid. ) but the people are nice here and I've found 1 star wars fan. Well he reads the EU's that's got to count for something. I'm in a lab now, not a cubicle. I share it with 6 sometimes 7 other people. All below the age of 35. So that's pretty cool. Another reason for my long absence was becuase I had no internet access till just this afternoon. After lunch. It didn't take me long to find this thread and bookmark it. I miss you guys. By the looks of things it's been a slow day. I'll see what I can do to help. So who wants to help me out. Man this place is colder then my last job!!!! it's like 40 degrees in here. And I already have a cold because of it!! This sucks!! IM BACK!! I've always used "Cheif" in a way that if I call you that, it means that I'm about to be really pissed off at you. Example: The last time I used Cheif was when I was out to eat with some friends and the service was awful- Waiter: "Can I get you anything else?" Me: (glaring at waiter) No, we've been waiting and still are waiting for our check, CHEIF." I don't know how this type of usage was started, but that's the way my dad has always used cheif, as well as a lot of other guys I know, and I just picked up on it. IP: Logged
