Hi Jedi Soul! Good Morning Master Slacker C Creepio, You're words serve as an inspiration to us all. I must now meditate on your words.... well, after I've done a good dose of slacking. Hello Gundark and Obi Two Im going down to Georgetown tonight with a few friends. I seriously can't wait. I hear it's pretty cool there. Nice expensive malls that could easily steal one of my pay checks. Oh well. It's something to do until Soul's master script is complete.

If you're going to Gtown, leave early so you'll have plenty of time to choke up M Street and not find a place to park. I'm not too big on Gtown anymore...overpriced, too crowded and they're too snotty to allow a Metro station to be built there...IP: Logged |

Funny story:I have this Darth Vader bank thing from Taco Bell on my desk. All week, I've been dumping loose change into it. Well, this girl walked by my desk and picked it up. SHe said, "What's this?" But as sher lifted it, the change inside rattled and startled her! She quickly put it back on my desk and said, "Oh, that scared me." (meaning the unexpected rattle of coins) But it was funny because the way she picked it up, etc. From my point of view, she picked it up, saw Vader's face, got scared and put it down. But in real life- after she put it down, I said, "You should be scared of Darth Vader." She sneered, "I meant the change." "But you realy mean Vader. He sparks fear into many a Rebel." "I meant I was startled by the sound!" "Of his breathing? I know, it's scary." Then we broke into this whole conversation about how she does the Vader breath over the phone every now and then. Then she bugged me about not going out to pay $15 for lunch every day and I said, "Oh, switch off!" It's going to be a Star Wars day at the workplace!!! Also: I forgot my pin number for long distance calls and this guy I barely talk to said sarcastically. "You forgot your code? Try Jedi, that will probably work."

Hacienda51, I know it's really expensive and I already assumed that it would be filled with snooties, but I'll be damned if I stay in alone on a friday night. I did that all summer tonight is my best chance of getting out. So I'll go. I don't plan on buying anything. Just mostly want to check out the hotties that may be there. Yeah the metro thing really bugs me too. It should have it. It really bugs that I have to drive there. IP: Logged |

Real quick:I always have a notepad with a list of things I have to do at work (real thing, actually work related). Well, today is slow, so my list is empty. But in the last fifteen minutes, I've created a new list. I will now share to exemplify what it means to be a true slacker: 1. Prepare new slacker promotions 2. Copy text from Porkins thread into Word 3. Check to see if anyone responded to the Balf thread 4. Check in on TarynS' forum 5. check yahoo.com to see if anyone bid on my vintage R2-D2 yet. 6. Think of new "Why Maul can't be Maul" theory 7. Check Classic Trilogy thread just so you'll all know what I'm up to... IP: Logged |

The old slacker promotions have faded into obsoletianity. Time for all new promotions: In no real order, here they are…gundark- you have been a great apprentice and will continue to walk at my side Darth Tater- Yes, you are the Emperor but for our purposes here, you are the new Grand Moff Tater Binks2- You were the original General of my Ground forces but your dedicated has earned you a promotion. Feel free to call yourself Chancellor Binks2 Jedi TarynS- My personal Mon Mothma will retain her position as slacker recruiter but you have since become responsible for you own thread. I give you 50% ownership of the Creepio/TarynS Conglomerate, a corporation dedicated to the continued growth of forum-wide slack. Jedi Soul- Man, what can I say…..There really are not enough words. You are one of the main reasons hype has not died. Therefore, our Head Writer is now “The Glowing Yoda” Amidala’s Suitor- I’m not sure what’s going on with your romance with Jedi Soul but I see now problems. You were, and still are, the Admiral of the Slacker Navy. I also give you complete power over the Hoth system. Hacienda51- One of the newer slackers whose picture is already posted on the slacker’s website. You are awarded Slacker Rookie of the Year. rookie- Hmm…speaking of rookies. I guess that makes you Slacker Wookie of the Year. Intrigue007- Bothan Spy. What else? Dara Starscream- Where have you been lately? I’m not sure. I guess you can be in charge of the “Hidden Slacker’s Base” DarthXXX- I can’t believe you’re leaving!! I realize a death mark’s not an easy thing to live with. Go pay off Jabba the Hutt, you Leader of the Slacker’s Scoundrel Order. Obi Two- A fan of his work, am I. Sort of an unsung hero of sorts. Perhaps a title of “Wedge” will be suitable? AmyAmeeAmi- A new face on the slacker’s forum! And a dedicated one at that. But you’re post count is not high enough yet. Therefore, you must live the next few weeks as a member of the Handmaiden’s Council. Arsinoe- You sort of show up every now and then. I like that. Keep things interesting. Only “The Glowing Kenobi” would be so bold. Sandfarmer- The man has survived a Thursday. Close calls. Gets away with stuff at the last second…Can you say R2-D2? Crystena77- One of the most respected members of the entire Jedi Council. A great asset as a guardian of slack in the old forum. How do you look in Creepio’s Royal Guard attire? Stellar- Another newer face, but a welcome one. Put a tray of drinks on your head and meet me on my sail barge. Vrian Sinth- You were one of the newer guys awhile ago but that was awhile ago. I need a forum engineer to repair any lost ideals of slack. You are the one for the job! ded- He’s only a blue ghost now. But he’s the cherished and rare “Glowing Anakin” hew- A long time slacker. One of the originals. Been doing it for years. He’s like a slacker Yoda. Son of the Suns- Hmmm, doesn’t seem to like me very much. Not here or in any other thread on this entire forum. I will call him “Forum Bonehead”. Pizza the Nut- I love this girl! Her work has dazzled me again and again. She will retain her title of Phantom Menace- wherever she is! dapper_bloke- Ah…the best for last. I really couldn’t believe my eyes the first time I logged onto the slacker’s website at welcome.to/swmcmmj Sweeter than Yoohoo. Anyone I didn’t mention- Grab a weird trumpet or something and get up on stage! You’re the cantina alien band- our entertainment for the slack! Enjoy your positions. Serve well, like you have been. Good luck and may the Slack be with you!

I'll bring it up to my friends. What's to do there? Im too lucky. C Creepio visits my thread, and he makes plans for it. I don't think I could get any happier then I am now. Thanks [b]Creepio[b] you really help make my day Im working at a governemnt place now. I would slack more but I actually have too much real w--k to do. It really sucks. My home computer is too slow to be bothered with so I don't use it as much. So here and now is my best chance to slack. Oh well, If there's a way I'll find it. Slack on!! IP: Logged |

Good Afternoon everyone. Creepio, thank you for allowing me to retain my position as Admiral of the Slacker Navy, I do appreciate it so. BTW, your Darth Vader bank story was hilarious, I laughed my @$$ off. Is it the Taco Bell bank? If so, I have that very bank sitting here at my desk. Jedi Soul, thank you for your words of encouragment, I really needed to hear that. Anyhoo, I feel much better now. I spent my lunch hour at Sega Gameworks taking my frustrations out on a game called Silent Scope. If you're not familiar, you seriously have to check this out, it's the greatest. In the game, you are an FBI sniper taking out bad guys from the top of a skyscraper. You get extra points for hitting the bad guys in the head, oh man is it theraputic. Run, don't walk to your nearest arcade and check this work of art out!!! [This message has been edited by Amidala's Suitor (edited 08-13-1999).] IP: Logged |
