Up you go!I do believe this is my 30th post. I know that is very small compared to the rest of you. I guess I just haven't had a lot to say. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was short but good. Got two new Star Wars books and a few of those postcards. To me that makes it a very good weekend. Would've been better if I had gone to see TPM (again), but the buses don't run on the holidays. Ah, well. Maybe on Thursday. Keep up the slack! I will be thinking about you while I am at the store. ok, this is a bit of a problem - I hope one of you can help...for the last month I have been constructing and editing the website on Dreamweaver 2, however it was only a 30 day trail version (a demo) and yes, you guessed it, 30 days is now up... I've removed the software and re-installed it from the packed file but it somehow remembers the existence of the previous version and just keeps telling me my 30 days are up... there must be a way round this - and if there is not... I will not be able to edit the website... please help... (and yes, I know this is dishonest/illegal/a very naughty thing to do, but I'm not going to buy the full version - the alternative is to hand over the site to someone who has a full version of Dreamweaver or another web-editing package - any takers...?) I can't believe :I'm telling you this over the internet.....Have you tried resetting the date on your PC to a day within the original 30 days? Not that I'd ever do that, but a friend told me that this works on some trial software Just double click on the time in the bottom right hand corner of the screen to change the date, you'll have to do this every time you use it. The only other way is to try and delete all references from the Registry - I wouldn't recommend it. IP: Logged |

Hi everybody !!Sorry I haven't been around lately, I got myself involved in a big gushers/bashers war renewed by Dedalus's return on the P(SA) Forum. There was action, I can tell you. Two banishments already !! I even got to be very vulgar, but I felt guilty, edited my post... and mailed the creep the exact same insults I had just edited. (Evil smile). IP: Logged |

Good morning slackers! Twi'lek Babe, that parody is GREAT! JediSoul, congratulations on half-SITHdom...you go girl! (Sorry for the cliche, Creepio... ) Okay, two Star Wars stories from the weekend: 1) I'm at the Redskins game Friday night (gundark-- ) and my parents and I have seats near each other, but at opposite ends of the section. A pair of seats opened up near them and they tried to get my and my boyfriend's attention, but unsuccessfully. Finally they got one of those REALLY LOUD guys to holler my name. When my boyfriend and I made it over to the "new" seats, my parents told me they had been trying to get my attention for some time, and my dad said, "I tried yelling your name, and when that didn't work, I tried yelling 'YODA!' " 2) My parents (yes, I hung out with them this weekend) and I were out to eat and my mom, who's a spaz about the home beauty improvements stuff, commented that my teeth were so white and what was I possibly using? I smiled at her and said, "Star Wars Galactic Bubblemint toothpaste!" "Star WARS?" my mom replied incredulously. "Yes!" I said, and you could just SEE her pondering whether or not she should run out and grab a tube. Slack on! See you guys in the chat. IP: Logged |

Well, there is a lot to read and catch up on, since I've been "off-planet" for the last four days. Just a few Star Wars things: Went to Atlanta this weekend. Drank too much, that's another story. Bought three SW action figures at pit stops during the drive, also an R2-D2 toothbrush that is too small for my jaws. Hacienda- I almost bought the toothpaste! I actually read almost the entire ESB novel outloud "audio-book style" to my driver and close SW buddy during our long journey. We just wished the CD player wasn't broken so we could have the soundtrack. Oh, well, work sucks but I've got to do some now. Just a little, I promise.IP: Logged |

dapper_bloke, the reason the software is doing that is because there is still a reference to it in the registry. After you have it removed, search the Microsoft website for the RegClean tool, and run that, and then try re-installing it. That may take care of it. You can remove all references to it manually from Regedit, but that'll take a while, and I don't recommend messing with the registry much. IP: Logged |

*sigh*...stuck here AGAIN in the forums...no dinner, empty beer...what is me'sa thinking????Yeah, where is the new thread? I don't see a lock on this one yet... Today I renamed my 'in' and 'out' baskets 'Sith' and 'Jedi' and added a talking Threepio pen to the SW Playpen. I can't wait for my boss to get back from her vacation and stress about something so I can hold it over the wall and say "This is madness!! We're doomed!!!" I offered my cousin $20 for it, but he said I could only 'borrow' it until Thanksgiving. We shall see. slack, slack, slack............... IP: Logged |
