Nah, too tiring. Being evil is real hard work, don't you think ? You've got to find ideas to do mischief... God, I'm exhausted already.
Being evil and being a slacker are antinomical, I guess.

It has been a long journey.. but I am at last home

I have learnt a few things on my visit to the other side of the Atlantic:

1. You have a far better selection of Star Wars stuff than here in the UK.

2. It's all a lot cheaper.

3. There is only so much Star Wars stuff you can buy in one go without people looking at you funny.

4. It doesn't pay to run around toy shops with unpurchased light sabres.

5. Or Star Wars Lazer tag - the coolest thing I have ever seen... period.

6. Apart from Star Wars trivial pursuit - has anyone got a set?

It's nice to be back and able to post again And good to see everyone is still here !!!

I want Sabe and Darth Tater to know that they did a fine thing in the suggestions forum but there is no need to worry about those flame wars. It is a shame that things said here in the slacker thread are being used against the slackers but just ignore it and hopefully balance will come to the forum once again.

No need for anyone to still be upset over something and idiot did to himself last Wednesday. Slack on...

TB - know how that feels. I'm working on a web-based project now in my spare time, and find that --already being on the web-- it's pretty easy to just flip over. Fortunately, I think I've hit TF.N "saturation", so there IS an upper limit.

I played games with people and started trolling spamming threads just to get a reaction. Some of you joined in and it was all in fun and out of boredome but it turned into a flame war and I fear I have caused my slacker freinds and the entire forum great harm.

Since the mayhem caused by my alias Administrator Rex last Wed., people have began to choose sides and fight with one another and we have forgoten why we are all here...the love of Star Wars.

What began as a joke turned into a war and I have seen many of my friends upset over it. I made a mistake in attacking Preacher Boy the way I did and it was right for the administrators to ban me.

There is no need for anyone to argue or fight on my behalf. I was wrong and the Administrators punishment was fair. I never realized before how seriously people take this forum and I was wrong to play games with people. Nothing good can ever come from fighting and flaming.

I really hope we can put this all behind us and get back to talking about Star Wars. I miss talking about Star Wars.

Son of the Suns took a lot of abuse during these recent flame wars and much of it was probably just because he defended the admins.

Sandfarmer you really should apologize directly to Obi Two .. he was banned (short term ?) attempting to defend you. I also believe you should apologize to Jedi Soul.. she too has suffered because she came to your defense. Your behaviour in this matter has caused grief for other members who post in this thread. These actions have also caused a great deal of unwanted scrutiny to be placed on the SWMCMMJ threads and by extension other "chat" type threads as well. Now, you may be a nice person IRL but in this forum under your multitude of aliases you have behaved questionably. It saddens me to watch you self destruct like that.

In the words of Master Yoda .. "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." It seems this whole incident demonstrates this quote quite nicely, imho. Now I am quite prepared to have all of you flame me for this , but please reflect on your own behaviour in this matter, your motivations etc.

I really would like to see this thread return to its roots .. ie stories about how Star Wars has affected our working lives. Those stories made me laugh and made me *want* to participate. The recent events just make me sad.
